Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Director to help build out our vision that innovation on data is possible without compromising on privacy. You will help define and implement Sarus’s marketin strategy to position Sarus as a leader in the market of privacy technology for data science and analytics. You will take part in building a powerful narrative about the problems we solve and why it matters to our customers. You will establish Sarus as a public brand in the AI and data industries.
You will be the first hire in the marketing department and work closely with the leadership team and the product team.

Preferred Experience

You are excited about the power of data and want to help pass a message of ethical use of data. You like trying new approaches, you challenge status quo and look at things from the other angle, you back your thesis with data whenever possible, explain your intuition when not, you can turn a deep technical matter into a simple pitch, you are curious.

Skillset:

  • 3+ year of marketing experience
  • Proven track record implementing a successful marketing strategy in a technical field
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking in English
  • Comfortable with data and technology and ability to make tech seem simple and approachable
  • Deep knowledge of demand generation

Bonus skills

  • Experience working for a dev tool or enterprise software company
  • Digital marketing experience (email campaigns, website support, social & paid media)
  • Taste for design, product, and user experience

  • Intro meeting with CEO where we will present Sarus and the job and you will introduce yourself and the challenge you are looking for
  • Technical interview with the CEO on a simple hypothetical case (small preparation work required, some of it might be in English)
  • Second technical interview with the technical team (no prep work)
