Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to keep bringing more fuel to our skyrocketting trajectory!

Here is the role:

  • Research target companies by market and industry
  • Develop strategies to target key decision-makers (chief data officers, chief scientists, CTO...) in order to book highly qualified sales appointments
  • Understanding a lead’s needs and effectively communicating how Sarus addresses them
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Work with marketing and product marketing to identify the most efficient marketing channels
  • Identify and qualify leads/sales opportunities from marketing campaigns
  • Deploy and leverage the most relevant tools for maximum efficiency

In this position, you will develop a deep knowledge of Sarus’s value proposition, market and competitive strengths and weaknesses.

Preferred Experience

  • Highly motivated to grow in a successful startup
  • Data literate: you are comfortable working with data-based and AI-driven value propositions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in English
  • A “get it done now” attitude
  • High-energy, passion, and a positive attitude
  • Previous sales development or BD experience is required
  • Previous experience in a startup selling data-driven software is a plus
